Cronulla Flagstone Pavilion

The clients wanted a proper outdoor room — somewhere shaded and generous enough to live in through a Sydney summer. We built a clean-lined skillion pavilion on a hardwood platform and wrapped it with hand-laid crazy-paved sandstone flagging that softens the geometry.

The flagstone was set individually over a compacted base with hand-cut joints — the kind of stonework that quietly ages into the garden rather than sitting on top of it.
