Sylvania Rooftop Garden

Rooftop gardens punish weight and drainage mistakes. We engineered a lightweight substrate over a fully waterproofed slab, then planted a drought-tough palette — Euphorbia ingens as the anchor, Calocephalus in silver, sedums, and trailing myoporum that spills over the edge.

Underneath, the outdoor lounge stays cool and shaded through the western afternoon sun.
